Re: Chinese Coronavirus

In Spain authorities are using drones to police people out on the streets when they should be isolating. There are different ways to manage this and encourage the public to take precautions to prevent spread. We should take the example of other nations. Austria has now banned gatherings of more than five people. Very sensible.

How does a drone know who is supposed to be isolating and who doesn't have it and needs to go out for some food or something?

Not sure that would do the slightest bit of good Annie.

Look at this:

" But according to research by scientists at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, it's not just the person next to us we should worry about: coughing spreads droplets as far as six metres, and sneezing as much as eight metres. These droplets stay suspended in the air for up to 10 minutes."

I agree with you Poohdog.
It is not going to be at all feasible for most people, except perhaps for those in care homes where their food is brought to them all their needs taken care of.

In towns over sixtyfives should get all the delivery slots at
supermarkets to get home deliveries! Nobody younger should be
eligible for home deliveries till the pandemic is over unless they
can prove they are infected?
Out of towns maybe meals on wheels could help out by doing the
deliveries and get a small incentive from the government?

Donkeyman! 🤔🤔🤔

I've never heard sneezing being referred to as a CV symptom!

Re: Chinese Coronavirus

When all this is over, someone somewhere will do an analysis of the statistics and from what I see so far, the UK is NOT doing well.
Example:
So far we have 35 deaths from 1372 cases.
Switzerland have 14 deaths from 2217 cases.

Why are we told the rest of the world is in awe of our NHS when it's undoubtedly obvious we don't have enough of anything to keep our people alive!!

Our death rate is in direct proportion to our proportion of older
citizens Lindy!
