Re: The healthy eating challenge!
I have a long running theory about health and longevity. My grandparents on both sides had bad habits. Drinking(in moderation), smoking and using chewing tobacco frequently and not watching their diets at all. Growing up in the south almost everything is fried. All of my grandparents lived to be in their late 90s. I think the difference was stress. They had no idea that their habits were bad. They didn't know some of the things they did were harmful to their health. So they never worried about it. Now we worry about such things so much that the stress of trying to stay healthy and eat right can shorten your life if you're not careful.Re: The healthy eating challenge!
There was a scientific study I read some years ago now. They checked plaques in the arteries of people who were eating saturated fat rich foods during a stressful situation and during relaxation.Re: The healthy eating challenge!
