Re: Over 50's Scotland club (Part 1 )

My wee neighbour just came in for a blether and a couple of halfs. He's so interesting to us. He's walked the length and breadth of Scotland. We had a good old blether and Martin and him had a wee whisky or two. Or three .

He's in the house now and settled. Escorted by Martin

Rona, you'll be fair looking forward to seeing the wee yin again. She's coming on in leaps and bounds. She looks beautiful. Just shows you how strong she was.

Baileys and whisky? I'd love to try that Jess. I'm boring when it comes to alcohol. White wine or nothing. I like Baileys.

Yes Myra I am glad its Friday, a wee lie in tomorrow is in order! Jess are you having a wee jig at Queen's music? Rona if the weather is still bad when you go away to Tenerife you can just sit back and relax and enjoy the sunshine there and not think about cold, rain, snaw or whatevere lol.

Re: Over 50's Scotland club (Part 1 )

hello everyone. There was heavy snow this afternoon when I was ready to go out, so I made a cup of tea and some toast, the snow stopped when I sat down to have that, then when I was finished and got my jacket on the heavy snow had started up again.. grrrrrr. I went out anyway and had a mooch around some shops. I spent ages in the Chest Heart & Stroke charity shop as my local one has some gorgeous stuff. I was tempted by a handbag but if its still there on payday I'll buy it. Sitting all cosied up in my warm dressing goon with a glass of red wine. Casualty is coming on in a few minutes

Hi Dorothy I seen on the news that Edinburgh was hit really bad by the winds yesterday, hope your house was ok. I read in the paper about the charity shop in Morningside selling all the top gear really cheap.
