Hello...back from Germany
Good evening all-had a lovely time in Germany with my Niece and her boys
Unfortunately the little one (3 yrs) started with a virus/cold on Tuesday and was not well at all-kept throwing a high temperature but by Friday was much better-kindly gave my niece, her other boy and me a lovely cold!!!!
Weather was not that good except for couple of days when it was warm and sunny, but that didn't spoil my visit. The camp where she lives is like a village! Took me on a guided tour of it-its in a lovely setting, surrounded by woodlands.
They have everything on camp-doctors, dentist, hairdressers, library etc. etc.
Her hubby managed to get through from Afghanistan on Skype a couple of times during the week. It was lovely to see him and speak to him. He looks well but says he's very tired. I'm not surprised he's tired, he's working 19 hours a day sometimes!!!!!
He and the rest of our troops deserve every penny they get and more working those hours. No wonder they are asking for more troops to help out but at least he's alright.
The Hatti girl is home as well
Went down to Derbyshire this morning to bring her home and got back about 4.30pm. She is fine and from all accounts, her and Sam have had a whale of a time. Great to have her home though. Going to have a nosey round now to see what you've all been up to-hope you have all been well.........
