Re: Islamaphobia
I am starting to feel ashamed to be British with all the hatred we are now seeing, don't dare dress differently you will be a target, don't be disabled you will be a target, just don't be different at all. Wait and we will all be issued with uniforms so we can all look alike so we don't stand out in any way as differentRe: Islamaphobia

Re: Islamaphobia
Fear breeds suspicion, anger and hatred, to be honest you canīt blame people in many parts of the country for being afraid. Regarding face coverings I too think they should be banned, I donīt care what any religion has to say about them, they are intimidating and breed suspicion, other than that I donīt care what anyone wears, but face coverings should go.Re: Islamaphobia
Will people please stop making the mistake of thinking and saying that the head scarf and veil are required by religion..They are not this is a cultural thing.Re: Islamaphobia
While that is true religion and culture are so intertwined it's hard for many to separate them. I can't see the harm in dressing moderately and while I don't like covered faces I can't hate people because they feel that is how they wish to dress.Re: Islamaphobia
It wasnīt "people" who mentioned religion Cass, it was me. However there are some muslim ladies, and men, who will tell you the veil is required by their religion, so it matters not whether itīs cultural or anything else, in my personal opinion faces should not be covered.Thread Tools | |
