Oh dear Jazzi, i guess the only answer is to cook everything fresh with only the ingredients you like. Now if your talking potatoes i would be inclined to agree with you, why is this bland insipid product added to everything. I completely agree with you ! And so would the indian gentleman I work with - even he says too much spicy food in this country. The region he originated in has a very subtle spiciness to their dishes and he hates all the overly spiced foods we have in this country.Re: Curry this, curry that...

Yes, there is too much choice when it comes to ready meals, pre-mix sauces etc... but it's a devil of a job to buy decent quantities and varieties of herbs and spices in most supermarkets. What really "gets me" is seeing packs of ready mashed potato and chopped onions!!Re: Curry this, curry that...
