Cats eh!!I've had smokey lie on my face a few times and thought I'd gone blind and was having an asthma attack (I don't even have asthma!) at the same time. Nope, just the cat.
I'm off to bed now anyway, tired myself out lifting that bottle of vodka and tipping it into the glass
A chapter or two of my book awaits.

Well it's that time again.The wife had a headache so took a couple of her tranquilisers and went to bed but I'm still up watching the fire as it slowly burns out. I just love watching the flames getting smaller and smaller until the last whisp of smoke goes up the lum then that's that - well until tomorrow when I light it again.
I got a rather inebriated phone call from my son-in-law's brother letting me know his girlfriend said yes when he proposed earlier tonight. I'm pleased for him, he needs something good to focus on after the bad that's happened and now he has something.
I'm going to call it a night I think, the cat has fallen asleep on the settee so I'll have to remember to take her through to the bedroom or else she'll wake up in the wee small hours and not know where she is. She's getting senile, poor thing.

Well it's that time again where I have to get up from my recliner and get into bed for some reading then SLEEP.Had a good night, got a 1999 Cadillac STS delivered to me this evening to replace the Rover 820i (which I sold to my friend) as I was getting fed up of it and you don't see a RHD Caddy for sale everyday.
Took it for a drive with the wife to get a late night McDonalds (the wonder isn't that I've HAD four heart attacks, but rather that I've ONLY had four heart attacks) and boy oh boy those heated seats are FANTASTIC.
I am very much going to enjoy driving that beast.
Anyway, better get to bed.
