When you realise you haven't taught them right

My husband bought me a new can opener it's great it leaves both the lid and the tin with a safe blunt edge.

Nathan wandered into living room with can of tapioca pudding and a spoon saying that openers great you can eat straight from the tin. As he munched his way through the lot.

I've failed, I thought I'd bought up a young man that used cutlery and crockery !

Well at least that's one less bowl to wash.

It all goes to help the planet ... no using water to wash up, no heating water either.

My ex brother-in-law used to lick the cutlery clean and put it back in the drawer.

A dishwasher to wash one spoon? How wasteful.

Tapioca pudding is something I haven't had in years; we used to get it at school dinner-time quite often, that or semolina.

Mine all love the milk pudding tapioca, semolina, rice, ground rice any of them. Cheap as chips and gets the calcium into them.
