Absinthe

My Son has just come back from Ibiza, and said Dad, try a bit of this liqueur, so I Necked it, half hour later I've just stopped coughing, anyone else tangled with this?

Wasn't it widely banned until the late 80's when the EU lifted it? Believed to be an addictive hallucinogenic.

Otherwise known as high octane gut rot.
No ..never had it.
