For what it is worth, I sympathize. 17 years ago I fell off a roof, landed on concrete and broke my back and totally shattered my right wrist. It was a very long time before I was pain-free. The doctors wanted to fuse the bones in my wrist but I refused. I am very glad that I remained firm on that, as I now have some movement in that shattered wrist
