Hoping for a quiet day to catch up with jobs again.

Might pip over to a village fete this afternoon, but depends on the weather later.

A damp and grey start to the day here.

Yesterday was fun, the littlies are looking after two dogs, a boxer and a little ball of fluff.

Their house backs directly onto the cricket pitch, only a 3 foot fence .

The dogs had never seen cricket before, thought that it was a game of fetch.:-

Sabrina had shut the dogs in the house, but Jacob, who is autistic, had gone out into the garden and left the door open.

Hilarious.

Morning everyone, we have company arriving later for a visit, prodigal son and family with new grandaughter, so I've got to spruce the place up whilst Mrs B kills the fatted calf.

Morning all, have little grandson staying and unusually he is still sleeping. I must have worn him out yesterday taking him home later which is good as I'm jiggered

A lovely, bright and sunny day here in Hull.
Today I'll be putting the finishing fitting touches to my new garden gates, followed by a long-overdue visit to the gym.
Later it will be the usual pre-shift sleep ready for work tonight

Good morning fellow members a bright morning here.

I have already been out and picked the runner beans , I am knee deep in them and with the neighbours provided for the rest will be frozen later.

My sister is coming for the day soon so lots of cleaning to do.
I also need to go to the tip with yet another load of garden rubbish.

buenas dias all. Hot and sunny, no change there. It's the family's last full day here, they leave for home tomorrow afternoon. It will take me a month to get the house back to normal, but we will miss that hyper little 18 month old, it will seem very quiet without him.

We are taking them out for lunch later, along with other close friends too.
My son was happy because an old army pal had contacted him, this pal has a very successful bar/restaurant not far from us, so they've had a couple of good "catch up" nights.
