Nearly jumped out of my skin

At work this evening I was listening to a pod cast a really creepy play, turned it off and drove home, half way I heard a deep voice from the back seat, mwhahaha his hand reached around her throat.... I nearly left the car before I stopped it ! Then I realised I hadn't turned off the phone properly and the podcast was still playing on the back seat.

My husband can't stop laughing about it ! Might have to wallop him if he keeps it up

Give him a wallop anyway, Julie - for laughing at you in the first place.

Which podcast was it? I download podcasts to my MP3 player - they help me get to sleep of an evening.

Ooh Julie, he used to terrify me when he played the old Dracula films. And I do mean really frighten me. I would only peep through my fingers.
When was that? I believe it was back in the 60's.

Sorry Julie - but that made me laugh! It shouldn't have done because it must have been very scary for yoiu.

Re: Nearly jumped out of my skin

At our previous property I had plenty of opportunities to jump out of my skin, as it was apparently 'haunted', and the weirdest things happened there. We got used to it in the end, as it was almost a daily occurrence for 11 of the 17 years we lived there. For the record my husband and I firmly believe there is a very natural explanation for all that is thought to be 'supernatural', even if science has yet to explain it.
