I bet there are mate. Do you go to local gigs? I'm sure there are many old singer-songwriters in your area who have sung about their history.

I live in Hull and the number of people singing about the fishing industry and all those lives lost in the past are too numerous to mention. Some of those lyrics are really quite harrowing.

Hi Floydy-I found one. I still go back to see my mother and she wants her `wake` at the forest centre.. In my mind I still see the works and the trucks loaded with clay.
