I wonder.

I often wonder whether to hang the washing out, in case it rains.

Re: I wonder.

I never hang mine out, I tumble dry everything I can & hang anything I can't over the C/H hot air vents. My washing line is now a bird feeder.

I don't have a garden and therefore no washing line - I dry all my clothes over a clothes horse situated in my bathroom (which happens to face West) and I therefore get the sun streaming in there all afternoon and it dries my clothes pretty quickly.

Hate using dryers.
Electricity eaters
If it's a lovely sunny day I hang it on the line I like the smell, of line dried washing.

Re: I wonder.

If in doubt hang it out
You can always bring it in again.

I don't have a drier, I couldn't afford the electricity to run one and I wouldn't want to anyway I like my washing dried in the fresh air .

I know, but I am too lazy to hang washing out. I do use a clothes airer on hot days when the C/Hing isn't on though, it stands on the patio with wet clothing on it.

Re: I wonder.

I know I might be letting the sisterhood down rather here
But there is something very satisfying in seeing clothes drying on a line

Re: I wonder.

Hi

My washing line is a rain machine, hang the washing out and the clouds appear.
