Good Morning Everyone and another sleepless night due to heavy rain outside battering on my windows! Ugh!

Good morning Rosemary and everyone else.

I see that you are awake early again Rosemary, the gales keeping you awake?

It was very windy here last night, nearly got blown away taking Dylan for his nightly walk.

Unfortunately, the lovely custom of guising has been replaced with the rather nasty trick or treat, so it`s best not to answer the door.

I have never heard the term 'Guising' before. We dressed up as witches and ghosts on Hallowe'en but there was no 'trick or treating' where I lived, and we certainly wouldn't have been permitted to do it if there had been.
