Good morning Sunday

Good morning everyone, a lovely bright start here after quite a chilly night and pretty close to freezing at the moment, which is a bit of a worry for the seedlings already planted out.

No plans for the day other than pottering around in the garden and cooking a jacket potato for lunch.

Good morning Barry, yesterday proved to be better than forecast, so i wandered into the city for a bit of retail therapy, then a quite hour in the main square watching the world go by.

Not sure what im up to today.

It's been another bloomin' hot day here in igloo land!
Way hotter than it normally is. And we ain't used to it!
Sure drains the old body real quick!

Been concerned about our Canadian members the forest fire looked appalling.

Thankfully the Fort McMurray fire, while still burning, is no longer a danger to populated areas.
So far we're good (we're surrounded by forest), as we've had more precipitation here, but we're still hoping for lots more of it!

I don't know if you've seen these videos of the fire, but this chappie put a series of 6 short videos showing his escape from the fire up on Youtube. This link is to the first one, the others should follow. It's pretty harrowing to watch.
