Thanks B&Q. You really are a bunch of w*+*#*$

Bought some trade emulsion yesterday, it would appear somebody has put a previously opened product back on the shelf.

All over the inside of my van. Grrrrrr

I would be furious too
We learnt to check the tins after we bought one from B & Q that had been used and topped up with tap water - what a stink it gave off !

Perhaps instead you should be railing at the sly sod that returned the opened tin and disguised the fact from the store staff?

Why?
I bought it from B&Q, if the tin has been returned by a customer(sly or not)the onus is on staff to make sure the product is suitable for resale before placing it on the shelf.

My contract is with B&Q.

Re: Thanks B&Q. You really are a bunch of w*+*#*$

I find that B&Q is OK as long as you check the items well before paying for them. I bought some timber board recently and, although it's advertised as being less prone to bowing, I had to carefully examine several sheets before finding some that were good.

Another thing that annoys me is that you find the appropriate section for what you want, then have to spend time sorting the advertised products from the various other things that idiot shoppers have put back in the wrong place. The staff probably do their best, but there are always more customers than staff!
