I bought it from B&Q, if the tin has been returned by a customer(sly or not)the onus is on staff to make sure the product is suitable for resale before placing it on the shelf.
My contract is with B&Q.

I find that B&Q is OK as long as you check the items well before paying for them. I bought some timber board recently and, although it's advertised as being less prone to bowing, I had to carefully examine several sheets before finding some that were good.Another thing that annoys me is that you find the appropriate section for what you want, then have to spend time sorting the advertised products from the various other things that idiot shoppers have put back in the wrong place. The staff probably do their best, but there are always more customers than staff!
