Taken in Langstrathdale in the Yorkshire dales.
I finished with my tomato plants yesterday. The crop hadn't been as good as I'd hoped for, only 27lbs from 6 plants.

Good morning all. After a dreary, dull, wet weekend, we had an improving day yesterday.Today, although the sun is not yet up, we have a cloudless blue sky and the promise of a fine day at last.

Still a bit dark here but crikey it feels quite chilly today. Gardener coming this morning and woman to clip the dogs fur this afternoon.

Good morning folks, still drizzly here but the forecast is to improve as the day goes on..

Just doing a spot of clearing up in my neighbour's garden for her if the weather lets me, and a walk with the gogs after a parcel has arrived. Don't you just hate waiting in for parcels...

Good morning everyone. The Sun is trying to come out at the moment I can here it creaking through the clouds. Think its forgotten about us as we have been under rain clouds for nearly 6 days.
Going for my Winter flu jab now. Don't look forward to it but its better than coughing and spluttering with the flu.
Have a nice day, I enjoyed my trip to Derby yesterday but didn't get as wet as I did in Mansfield on Saturday, that was called a drenching

Got some washing on and waiting for a bit more sun, then out into the garden to get the hanging baskets sorted before the squirrels demolish them - can't think why they are dismantling them unless it is to line their drays?
Used to enjoy walking with my grandchildren Meg, they are too old now - they'd rather go shopping, especially the girls

Dull, but sun is trying to come out. Did my weekly shopping at Aldi's at 8am this morning. Going outside to cut the roses bushes down now.

buenas dias all. This is getting boring I know, but another very hot sunny day here. Yesterday was a 'stressful' day, new beds were delivered and put together, in the middle of all this a man turned up to check fittings etc for the new boiler we will be having. Oh no, he said, these pipes are too small so he proceeded to removed air vents and pipes, knock holes and fit new vents and bigger pipes. Whilst all this was going on two men in different halves of the house putting the beds together. Today I'm still chasing that awful polystyrene stuff around the house. Only a wardrobe and chest of drawers to be delivered and fitted now and then maybe, just maybe, I might be able to get things back to normal, until the gas men arrive again that is. Now I must dash off to do some shopping and then hopefully back in good time to get to my Spanish class. These days I could do with adding a couple of days to the week for a longer week !
