locks on royal free hospital chapel - what has society become ?

locks on royal free hospital chapel - what has society become ? 04.03.18

to my saviour

i am writing to inform

so sorry to bring a bad flavor

discovered just after you sending emma the storm.

spotted on entry

faith never in shortage

it would be crime of the centry

conscience would have eternity for storage.

saddens me to prison

god should not be in a cage

but you can see lucifer and the poison

the evil is stuffing us like sage.

out come the alba phone

dear lord had to record proof

from the place that has fixed every bone

all is sacred under the royal free roof.

saddens me to lock

or to have to push to release

4oclock in morning and i came and you were my rock

only thing to take from chapel is peace.

things are changing

locks on chapel are a indication

this world needs allot of rearranging

faith in you god is in this communication.

Wow - This is both poignant and sad.

I agree with Sweetie Pie and Puddle Duck. Why would anyone ever lock a chapel door?

I was with my dad in Kansas City one time when we noticed a sign on a downtown cathedral door that read, "If locked, go downstairs."

Agreeing that it was probably better not to test the lock, we kept right on walking - quickly.

The doors to the chapel in the hospital where I worked have been locked for the last twenty plus years, unless it is in use. This is because of constant vandalism and drug usage. The University Hospital here has a Multifaith room, but in a main corridor, with a window in the door.

Churches closed, protests unheeded
Vandals strike where help is needed
When will all this horror cease
For those who wish to pray in peace
The house of god is there for all
Even for those who ignore the call
Doctors and nurses can cure most ills
With tender care and coloured pills
But sadly there will always be
A life cut short, a soul set free
And in that time of stress and pain
Some need their god so they may gain
The peace of mind that prayer can bring
As to the life they have they cling
Yet even then their hopes are mocked
They find the doors to help are locked
