The whole family is going to a local hostelry this evening for a drink and a meal to celebrate Sheila's 83rd birthday. Should be good.

Good morning everyone, another hard frost here but a nice bright day in prospect I believe.

Just a walk around the garden centre for us today to look for some fruit bushes, I ordered all my seeds online yesterday.

Looks like you are getting the hang of your new camera Alan, a lovely crisp image of the robin. Happy birthday to Shiela and I hope the evening goes splendidly for you all.

Lovely robin. The recent cold weather seems to have brought more birds into view. I enjoyed watching a group of long tailed tits yesterday afternoon.

Chloe met her friend Charlie Springer down the fields, he is 13 weeks and growing fast .

Not going to do a lot today, it is too cold in my kitchen to lurk there for long.

I'm going to an important lodge meeting this afternoon. Seems my fraternal brothers want to install me as a Gran Master. Gran Master of what, you ask ? Can't tell you its a secret.

Other than that, its a lovely crisp morning today. I plan on taking my 91 year old mother shopping. And then later on in the evening will meet up with my lovely vampire of a girlfriend
