Re: Amazon Prime

I wondered that too Patsy. I've never been sure how it works. Don't you have to buy something on a regular basis?

Re: Amazon Prime

Patsy my son does
It seems to work ok he buy a lot of stuff from Amazon though including things for the offices which he needs quickly so it is worth it for him.
I would't have it, I don't buy enough to make it worth while.

Re: Amazon Prime

I just go for the 'free delivery' when it is applicable since I'm never in a hurry for whatever I've bought.

Re: Amazon Prime

Nathan uses it, he gets loads of kindle books free and can borrow them like library books too, he also uses the free streaming of films and box sets quite a lot. Add free delivery of physical items and it works out well for him.

I don't as I don't mind waiting for items, find they have more than enough free books for me in this lifetime and don't really stream films and box sets I either watch TV or have the physical box sets and films.

Re: Amazon Prime

I have had it for a few years now.

You get free next day delivery on most items sold by Amazon themselves - that's how it started out, now however, you also get access to their video streaming service (I don't use it myself) and also some other benefits - price has gone up to reflect this.

If you order a lot from Amazon it is worth it imo

Have a look here: www.amazon.co.uk/prime

Re: Amazon Prime

Thanks Azz - Fabs is checking it out to be sure
We don't particularly want modern films so it is probably not for us

Re: Amazon Prime

It's still worth it for the next day deliveries Pats

Also, if they ever miss their promised 'next day' date, just contact their support and see if they offer you an extra month of Prime for free - if not ask for compensation and that's what they normally give you.

I got an extra years worth of Prime by doing that

(Yes I order that much from there lol)

Re: Amazon Prime

Waiting a day or 3 isn't so bad for most of us Azz, certainly not worth paying so much for next day delivery for me.
