The Clink

With items such as venison and wild boar on the menu, you would be forgiven for thinking you were dining at an upscale, five-star restaurant.

But instead of being helmed by a celebrity chef, all the dishes in The Clink are cooked and served by inmates.

And now the eatery - which is staffed by prisoners at HMP Cardiff - has been recognised as the best place to eat in the city as voted for byTripAdvisor reviewers.

I spotted a topic on another forum about this Restaraunt and had a read about it.
I think its a very good idea and looks as if its really doing very well.

Re: The Clink

There was a programme about it on TV a little while ago It has clearly changed the lives of some prisoners provided them with a feeling of self-worth for the first time in their lives and building the foundations of a new start in life .

Re: The Clink

I wish that there would be more examples of this type of thinking. Who was it who said that there are no problems, only opportunities?
