Ten years

Where do you see yourself in ten years from now?

Hopefully I'll still be alive and kicking and be ready to retire at 66. Might be living with my partner. Hopefully have been to a wedding or two, of my family. Maybe grandkids . Basically still doing what I do now. Walking and just enjoying life.

It's just a thread! I could be pushing up the daisies next week, but I'll think of threads in the meantime

Re: Ten years

My Dad died aged 72.

My mother died long before that but I don't know exactly when so I don't know her age then but it must have been around 58.

Many of my family on both sides died relatively young so as I am 64 in September of this year, in 10 years time I'd be approaching 74.

That would be quite an achievement in the history of my family, on both sides, so that's what I am aiming for.

I may also start looking into Spiritualism as, when I've passed-on, scaring the bejesus out of someone who richly deserves it REALLY appeals to me. stevmk2

That also gave me a laugh Steve. Thank you

Yes, our health is the ultimate. I have heart disease and strokes on both sides. My parents are in their 80's which is good, but I don't quite know if I'll survive that long. I like wining and dining too much

I'd just like to be here for my parents and sons for as long as I can.
