Children still play this, surprisingly.

Re: Cat's cradle

We used to do that too, many years ago Cinders.

I can't remember how to start it off now, but I remember how to keep it going.

Ah, I have just found this video showing how to begin it.

Re: Cat's cradle

Problem is children do not want to go outside and play now, They prefer sitting in an easy chair playing on a playstation.
My childhood days were of Hopscotch, Hide and seek, Paper chases, Bowling hoops, Climbing trees.
Sadly 'elf and safety won,t allow many of these today.

That brings back memories, it used to be the craze in the school playgrounds years ago.

French skipping seems to be coming back, saw children in village school playground having a go, and one was skip balling. Great fun.

That is true Ben.
They even tell them to wear safety helmets and goggles to play conkers these days.
Heavens above, they'll have 'em in shin pads and breast plates to play Hopscotch!
And no tree climbing without a safety net either.
