Even the rich have bad days.

What a terrible sight.
Such a beautiful boat disappearing below the waves.
It must be heart wrenching to see your pride a joy in such a state.

That's quite sad, difference between rich and poor though is I would guess they are either insured or can afford to replace it.

That really isn't the point, is it?

I see the negative British attitude towards wealth is alive and kicking.

The owner's wealth should not be an issue when watching this.
Wealth doesn't make it any less tragic.

Sorry I thought the rich in the title meant that was what we were talking about. But if not its just a boat sinking no one hurt.

Re: Even the rich have bad days.

I had to pay out over £1300 last week for a new flywheel and clutch in my car.
In case you think I have posted in error, I mention this because I think people will find it about as exciting as some rich boys toy sinking.

How would you feel if your caravan went up in smoke?

This poor guy is watching his pride and joy sinking along with personal affects.

Insurance won't cover the memories and a new/replacement boat won't have the personal touches they no doubt added.

Wealth and whether he/she can afford it is immaterial.

You really think so?

The very same rich boys that employ the likes of me and you?

The very same rich boys that keep Marina staff, Marina restaurants, fuel delivery tanker drivers etc. in jobs?

Not to mention those employed as boat builders or those they employ in their own businesses.
