passwords

has anyone here thought about when they die,will you leave your password for your pc so others can see all the pics and stored stuff you have collected over the years?

That's a good point!

It most likely wouldn't affect me as my son already knows all the ins and outs of my Mac.

Nobody has my passwords. I think my daughter knows my facebook pass because she was the one who set that up. I really have nothing on the net that they would be so interested in anyway...

Similar but not quite the same ...

What would you like to happen to your old diaries?

When my mother died I came across some.
I chose not to read them ... and destroyed them so no one else could pry into her secret thoughts and writings.

Crikey .. I hope there was no final message included with directions to some treasure or something.

Morticia I think old diaries would be interesting for future generations. Sadly I don't have any myself.
I have saved all my late husband's love letters though, they are beautifully written and I hope my grandchildren may enjoy reading them some day .
