Warnings!

I am certain we have all seen rather obvious warning on things - like 'May contain Nuts' on a packet of peanuts - but - this one that landed on my doormat yesterday has to take the prize for silliness!

What was in the packet? 26 x stainless steel cutting dies!

Re: Warnings!

That reminds me, purchased the battery for the electric bike, it weighs 6 Kgs,
it is just over a foot long, see number 11 on the warning list.

Re: Warnings!

Some of these are about as sensible as the news report from the radio show, "I'm sorry I'll read that again".

"A fifty two tonne Centurion Tank has been stolen from an Army camp just outside Aldershot. Police warn that this could be dangerous if swallowed by small children."

Re: Warnings!

If you can't store the battery with coins, hairpins or screws, can you store it with nails or metal chains?

It isn't as ridiculous as you might think, spitfire. We often underestimate the determination of children.

True. But where should one store the store, especially if a child is intent on eating a locked cupboard?

Maybe secure storage containers with Coshh labels on them should also have labels advising children not to eat the container?

In my experience, Dextrous, advising a child is the most effective way of getting him/her to ignore you.
