Have You Put Your Heating On?

I have, it’s bloomin cold here!

Have you put yours on, or are you tough and waiting for 1st October to put it on?

Never turn it off. It's on a timer and thermostat.
If it goes cold the heating comes on, if it's warm it stays off. Simples.
Can't understand turning it off for months of the year. Only to turn it on and find it doesn't work.

I'm too tight, my finger stutters when it gets near the "on" button.

No heating here, just a nice warm cardi for extra warmth.

Re: Have You Put Your Heating On?

Yes definitely have, my house was freezing cold at about 06.00am and with the temperature indoors being about 17ºC it had to go on. Cold temperatures are not good for me health wise so have to be careful. I would never have expected temperatures like that in the first week of June, it's more like winter or perhaps it's autumn arrived a little early!

Just checked and it's 22ºC indoors so that's fine by me...

I do the same .....

In a hot summer, I'll turn the heating on once a week to keep the system clean.

Re: Have You Put Your Heating On?

Absolutely NOT. Why add to the pollution burden?

Just a winter track suit for the memsahib and cavalry twill slacks and Aran pullover for me.

And as for Snot, he's curled up on his cushion on the living room windowsill getting what warmth he can from what sun there is.
