Persistently wet Friday



Good morning everyone, do you think it has been a long week this week?

High winds and driving rain through the night left quite a lot of water on the bridal way this morning so with the rain this morning it was like a swimming pool and the water was up to Dylans stomach in some place.

The day will be spent keeping the fireside company with a good book.

Have a wonderful day everyone and remember to thank those upstairs for allowing you to wake up.

It`s a grey day here. And I feel ill. Definitely a cafe in the park walkies for the dogs today. They charge round while I sit in the shelter with a mug of hot tea.
Light too poor to paint which is a pain cos I`ve got 2 to finish but maybe I`ll draw instead....

Morning all from a wet and blowy Sherwood. I was going to carry on fixing my new fence but the wind would probably make it too dangerous, so I'll catch up on some letter writing I think until it abates

I do envy you Claire, being able to paint and draw, I never got past matchstick men and crayoning books!

Hi all! Cloudy and still well below seasonal norms: 1 C (33 F); may get rain tomorrow to finally wash away those heaps of dirty snow lingering everywhere. New snow is so clean and bright, and old dirty snow, ugh! No plans, paid bills and pottering.
