The Happiest place in Britain

Do you know where this is?

According to yet more researchers, they say the happiest place in Britain is ......... Brighton.
More than one third of the people who live there say they wake up smiling. (Is that true UJ)?

By contrast, Edinburgh is supposed to be the glummest place. Followed by Liverpool and Southampton.
Checking bank statements, traffic jams and bad weather were the most common 'downers.'

The happiness index found the other top cities of joy were:

Leicester, Portsmouth,Newcastle and Oxford.

How often do you wake up smiling?

Are you suggesting UJ has slept with a third of Brighton's inhabitants

I believe it may be true....many go to bed gay(disposition) so it makes sense that they wake up gay.

It's a typo, they probably meant Brighton le Sands on Botany Bay.

Re: The Happiest place in Britain

My mother lives in Brighton, (she is 98), as does my sister and partner. They love it there and would live nowhere else, despite having been born up here in Warwickshire.
