Re: Pet V Partner

I would never have a relationship with someone who didn't like animals they are such an important part of my life.

Not that I would want a relationship with anyone, I love being on my own

I can't see me ever getting involved with someone who didn't like my dogs in the first place. These ones or their predecessors have always been with me.

The man would have to go, the pets would be staying.

You realise we will be accused of 'man bashing' yet again, don't you.

What about the men, you're keeping quiet? Would you give up your pet for a woman who hated it?

Re: Pet V Partner

Well looking at it from a mans side, if were a young man who liked animals and I met up with a girl I liked and she didn't like animals the last thing I'd do is ask her to marry me, be friends alright but marrying her would simply be asking for long term trouble, common sense tells me that. I would imagine a Woman feels the same way if her chap doesn't like animals.
