Days of days

It is the shortest today, good news for all the fellow SADdos out there, only 98 days to go to the clock change.

Re: Days of days

Paul the winter solstice is a more memorable time for me than the sham holiday of Christmas

The year is turning and there is hope again

Spitty is right I think Alan I always understood the solstice encompasses the longest night tonight and the shortest day tomorrow

Re: Days of days

If it is as I understand the shortest day tomorrow then it is not going to stay any lighter later, so it wont start to draw out really until Monday and then that may not be noticeable but it will give it a week! Happy Winter Soltice everyone.

Driving to Ayrshire last night in the darkness, I could help wishing the nights were lighter again . I don't like driving in darkness. Roll on Spring

Re: Days of days

Well this means that every night it will get lighter by 5 minutes a day.
That's what I like to see. I remember the other week thinking how
dark it was for 4.30pm especially with the dull days we are having.
No wonder we get a lot of SAD in the UK.

Alan I am pretty sure Spitty will have his own calendar and it won't necessarily be the same as yours or concur with anything posted on the internet
