If You Had To Choose A Pest

If you were told your home just had to be invaded this summer with some type of bug or rodent, which would you choose?
Remember, you have no choice in the matter, husbands & wives don't really count

For instance: flies, spiders, mice, ants, rats, centipedes, moths, etc.

I would pick flies I guess as long as they're not the biting black flies!

This electrician once said that he's rarely seen wire damage from rats in all of his decades of his career. We don't have rats, well at least not where they're not supposed to be, but I worried that if a rat got in the walls, our house would burn down.

I hate all insects and rodents, could I be invested with a colony of Limpets, those little shell things that stick to rocks don't move and mind their own business, after all they are only big bugs with shells on, if you got fed up looking at the colour of them you could always paint them to match the curtains or whatever.

That's funny Jem, the only limpet I've ever heard of was Mr. Limpet played by Don Knotts

Can I have chipmunks? They're at least fun to watch and cute. Or red squirrels? (Not considered a pest in the UK, but they certainly are in Maine.)

Good to have you back, Jem. I missed this sort of wit!
