It must be approaching winter, we both had letters from our doctor's surgery yesterday advising us to make appointments for our flu jabs.

Good morning everyone, a glorious sunrise here as I write and a half decent day in prospect methinks.

I laid the new floor tiles in the utility room yesterday so will grout them in this morning and refit the skirtings this afternoon then sit and do nothing for a while ... I can't remember how I used to work ten hours a day as I'm bushed after just a couple nowadays...

Good morning all, beautiful stag Alan and well done on getting the tiles down Barry. My son is a floor and wall tiler and tiling floors is no fun on your knees.

Just walked Amber and it is quite pleasant out there this morning a lot warmer than I expected after the forecasts.

Its very sunny here but chilly. Make the most of it today though as Monday and Tuesday will be heavy storms.

Sunny at the moment but due the rain later on this evening for about a day.
Ireland registered the coldest August night ever since records began last night -2degrees in August. Hope this is not a clue to what our Winter might be like.

If it stays warm I might head back down to the allotment and clean our newly covered shed. (The remaining plastic sheeting is green and filthy, looks like it needs a good scrub down.)
