Weather forcasts

We went away for the weekend with jumpers as it said on the BBC weather it wasn't going to be sunny and quite cool. Arrived bathed in sun and spent whole time muttering they got that wrong we had two days of almost uninterrupted sunshine.

Made me think when was last time they got it right ? I can't actually remember thinking they got it right very often !

'They' are certainly right this morning, I have just been to put on an extra jumper as the temperature has fallen a lot over the morning..

We were just saying that yesterday people were going past in shorts and T shirts - today it's jumpers. What a strange part of the world we live in.

They said it would rain here today, showers they said!
Clouds everywhere, windy, keeps "feeling like rain" but nothing happens.
My garden pots are dry, my grass seed is just sitting there...

Sun bathing in the garden over the weekend.

Today to go to work felt I needed my scarf and hat back on it was so cold.

Rain forecast for the rest of the week. Fed up with it.

Spain here I come.

It has turned so cold here after earlier this morning that I've had to change into a thicker jumper. I looked at the forecast for next week and notice we are down for 18ºC next Wednesday .... bring it on!

Our local wether reports are not bad, though there timing can be off at times.

Weather forecasts are a joke. After watching the local news on BBC's Look North for example they do the local weather forecast. Immediately after that it returns to BBC 1 which gives a weather forecast which totally contradicts the local one.

I trust my own man-made weather forecaster which I've set up in the garden.

Ours are pretty good here, they come from RAF Shawbury, only a few miles away.
