Since getting puppies we have had to put ours way up on a shelf above the loo, and remember to get a bit before being seated. Little boggers (Betty particularly) kept ripping them up. So no over or under just standing on it's end

Mine has to be under. I thought your post was going to ask about the size
of toilet rolls nowadays.
I bought a pack of 12 the other day and they have shrunk enormously.
I still have a different brand left and its nearly half the size of that
brand. Talk about cutting down.
