Feel very sorry for them.

Men are digging up the road at the back of us, so noisy, I feel very sorry for them having to work with that level of noise all day.

The hole is filling with water quicker than they can bail it out too, probably better if they wait until it stops raining !

Let's hope they're wearing proper noise blocking earphones, otherwise they'll be as deaf as posts in a few years

Good point, apparently they are replacing gas pipes they've done all through Woking over last few months causing all sorts of traffic problems, looks like they e reached knaphill now.

The joys of driving when they have roads closed !

Not entirely Mups, you'd be surprised how often workmen using pneumatic drills and stone cutters do so without wearing ear defenders and goggles.

But I thought they were supposed to UJ, and if they don't bother, that's their own silly fault then.
They will regret it later in life.

Mups....if they did as UJ suggests they'd be kicked off site....it just doesn't happen these days.

Wrong again!!! Have challenged quite a few workers out on the street for not wearing ear defenders and goggles.
