Getting dark

Has anyone else noticed it is getting dark a good half hour earlier already?
Not long ago I was still watering some outside pots at 10.15 pm, but I had to come in by about 9.40 tonight.

We'll have Christmas stuff back in the shops before we know it!

Re: Getting dark

Yes Mups I noticed this week particularly the night I found a sheep stuck at 9 pm and was struggling to free it before dark . I couldn't manage in the end and had to call out the farmer.

Re: Getting dark

After June 21st I resigned myself to the fact that the dark days and long nights would soon engulf us, and for a few nights it seemed to be so. I always sleep with the blinds half open and can observe the Northern sky before drifting away into a world of dreams. I know that the sunset is getting earlier but just lately it appears to be going in reverse. As I draw the blind around eleven I have been noticing that the Northern sky still contains a flash of bright light, and getting up for the toilet around three thirty reveals a slowly brightening sky and I can easily make out features in the garden.

I would prune them if I catch 'em, Spitty.
