Quentin Crisp had the right idea, he said that after the first two years a place doesn't get any dirtier.

My much loved ,late, aunt PHythian put this into practise. THere were little pathways through the lino where she trod & thick dust everywhere else. STrangely enough she kept her prize winnning Peruvian long haired guinea pigs and award winning ANgora rabbits in pristine cleanliness, EVen training them to use a special "loo" in the corner of their spotless enclosures.

THe GET WELL SOON card idea is inspired. Housework is boring.
I've no idea where the iron is & havent a clue how the washing machine works. It's too late to know now.
