My accident!
Hi everybody - I'm back from my hols in Blackpool sooner than expected.4 hours in Blackpool A&E last night and 2 hours in fracture clinic today has put an end to my holiday in Blackpool. I went full of anticipation yesterday and returned today with gashed right leg, stuck together with surgical glue and those little strip things and a broken left ankle. I fell down the stairs at hotel - The last 24 hours have been horrific. All I've seen of Blackpool is the hospital!
What happened was I was walking down stairs and my stiletto heel caught in the hem of my palazzo pants - down I went. I landed on a couple who were a few steps in front of me. If they hadn't broken my fall I would have gone the whole length of the stairs ... Thankful for small mercies eh?
My son offered to fetch us home, so here I am feeling tired and wretched.
The hospital gave me co-codamol for the pain but they make me fee tired and slightly sick.
It's only 10.20pm but I'm off to bed now.
