Sleepovers.

Hi

It is Nadis' first School Trip away.

http://www.prees.shropshire.sch.uk/w...ws-23-2018.pdf

Jacob, who is Autistic, is also on his first non family night away.

Staying with a girl in his class who we knew nothing about, apparently they are the best of friends and she is having a sleepover for her birthday.

Not a peep from either of them, they must be enjoying it.

Oh my Swims

They don't get going until about midnight usually
and just as everyone settles to sleep at 3 or 4 in the morning...
One of them will be awake again at 5!

My grandchildren have sleepovers with friends. I can't remember my children ever doing so, it wasn't done when I was a child.

Re: Sleepovers.

Hi

One is a School trip, just a one night thing, good to build their Independence.

The other one is Jakob, autistic, staying over for a birthday for another child from Special School.

It is very good for him to socialise.

Don't be surprised if he's cranky when he gets home.......not much sleeping tends to go on, party food and excitement, it takes them a while to get back to normal! Doesn't mean he didn't enjoy it.

Bet they've had a lovely time. Gracie has one next week I don't let her do them during term time and she doesn't finish school until this afternoon.

Re: Sleepovers.

When mine were youngsters they had sleepovers regularly and they were usually at our house.

My grandchildren also had sleepovers here too, almost every weekend. I do miss having youngsters about the place.

I'm sure they will both have a great time, not sure about the hosts though 😂

Hi

Neither of them stayed at my house.

Nadi was on a school trip, Jacob stayed in Shrewsbury.

All the littlies are used to sleepovers at my house, they get Ice Cream for breakfast.

I always have a Babcha staying over as well, makes things so much easier to have Grandma in the house to keep an eye on them.

They much prefer to have Babcha Zosia here, she is as mad as a hatter, very young at heart, she really does have a way with littlies.

Babcha Ella is much stricter.
