Great film from 1974 starring John Voight, . . it's loosely based on fact, . . there was an organisation called the Odessa and Nasser did have 400 rockets aimed at Israel, . . his rocket scientists were formerly nazis.
It's based on the novel by Frederick Forsyth, . . the villain Roschmann, played by Maximilian Schell, did exist too, . . he was known as the butcher of Riga, . . . the film is on DVD and well worth watching.
Films sometimes get close. There was a `conspiracy`? to allow some who were involved in the evil treatment of others to be spared because their knowledge was useful in the upcoming cold war.
Very interesting link OG, . . the allies in their eagerness to keep pace with the Russians, who also had their own German scientists, put aside the fact that von Braun was a war criminal too and made him chief rocket scientist for NASA later on.
