Hello - I am a young 50 year old who enjoys people who laugh easily, love life and generally believe everyone can make a difference. I have just started sailing, enjoy reading and am a confirmed movie addict. Music tastes range from classical to heavy metal?? - not country - I could never quite get a handle on this.

My kids are 12 and 16 years old and being a parent is wonderful. Having a mother who voices opinions openly, has tattoos, dreadlocks (until 2 years ago) and generally challenges everything and anything may at times be difficult for them, however they have learnt respect and mindfulness and will hopefully become grounded adults who think for themselves. My husband of 24 years has a wonderful sense of humour and makes me laugh everyday.
Living in South Africa is great - I believe in this country and the people who live here. We get things done, sometimes in odd ways, mostly in interesting ways though, however its never dull.
What am I looking for: interesting people from different places with views and opinions and a love of life.

My Interests

Reading, movies, walking in nature and on the beach. Newly sailing.
