Real Gallows Humour.

I've just been watching a very old British made film (1940) on the Archive Org. stream and I had to laugh out loud. The hangman is about to put the noose around the condemned Man's neck and he says to him, "Well me old son, all your life you were tee-total, but you're going to have a nice drop now", the doomed Man looks up at him and asks, "Can you do me one last favour Sir?". "What's that Son?". "Keep your trap shut".
