Good morning everyone.

I think I have woken up in a parallel universe - no snow, no ice, no rain, and there are people walking in the street!
Plus I have the big excitement of it being 'recycling' collection week - wow!

Might have to go and play in the craft room to recover. Have several birthday cards to make.

It has been a lovely warm summers day, went to a seniors meeting this morning then a bit of shopping. No stock of my favourite shoe in Big W - really annoying.

Spent a lot of the day preparing the front bedroom for some visitors this evening, my son, DIL and grandkids are visiting now that restrictions have been relaxed. I am allowed up to 30 visitors to visit my household ?? I am not sure I know that many people that I would want to invite. It is evening now but they are having to leave the ACT after school and work so expect they will arrive quite late.

Anyway mowed the grass yesterday (you can just about see it grow in this warm weather with the wet soil).

Good morning all, borderline frosty here but a fine day forecast until this evening, so I may get out in the garden for an hour or two later on, fish pie to cook first though for lunch...

Nonstop sleety rain forecast again today. I never got warm at all yesterday. Still, thermals on I'm venturing out food shopping later. I'll buy lots of naughty but comforting grub!

good morning, and no rain here. Looks a dry (ish) day so maybe another hour in the garden, thats two days in a row

Good morning everyone a sunny start to the day and lovely to open the curtains and see a tub of flowering primroses.

I am going to make some leek soup and maybe clean the windows.

Well I woke up to pouring rain, though it's beginning to clear slightly now so fingers crossed. Got a click and collect today from Sainsbury but not much else planned. Oh, apart from using up the broccoli in the fridge to make some broccoli and stilton soup for lunch, mmm.
