Where is your washing machine.

I read an article online (DM) today where it was suggested the bathroom was the place for washing machines, not the kitchen.
Personally I would not want to carry a basket of wet washing downstairs to hang out in the garden, added to which my bathroom is far too small to accommodate a WM.
But it seems the rest of the world do.
Where do you keep yours?

My washing machine is in the kitchen. I would love to own a house big enough to have a laundry room so all white goods could go in it, but I don't, so the kitchen is where it stays.

Ours is built in under the worktop in the kitchen. Right next to the back door which is handy.

The Mangle is just above the Twin Tub.

Nice. I wish I had a washer upstairs but ours is downstairs.
I also want to get a top loader and sell our high efficiency one.
The high efficiency ones don’t work as well as the top loaders.
Yes they use less water but I wish I never bought one. They are a PITA.

Re: Where is your washing machine.

Why would you want a washer upstairs Bratti?
I would find it very inconvenient, and imagine if it leaked, all the water through your ceiling!
I used to have a top loader, I loved it, but they don't seem to sell them here anymore.

Where I left it, plumbed into the waste pipe in my kitchen.
