Hairy Tuesday

Good morning everyone

The weather is changing here, the cool winds are drifting in from the sea and the heat has dropped making sleeping at night much easier. Mother natures creatures are very active this morning and the morning greeting we generally get on our morning walk from the peacocks was enough to waken the dead.

Plans for today are Haircut, shopping, visiting, lunch and a relaxing afternoon watching the Tour de France.

Have a great day everyone and spare a moment or two for absent friends.

Re: Hairy Tuesday

Good morning Antibrown and those who follow.

A good sunny start here in Sherwood, where we are off for a walk in the woods with Oscar shortly, before it gets uncomfortably hot. A few odd jobs after coffee and then it's bacon and fried spuds for lunch, scrummy....

Try to have a good day yourselves and hey,....let's be careful out there...

Good morning everyone - Bight and sunny again here, but may well change later. Little Bonnie has had a foray down in the field (2nd time out) and we are waiting for our grandson to arrive. Enjoy your day everybody, whatever you decide to do.

Re: Hairy Tuesday

Another bright, sunny and hot day, it's gets monotonous this time of the year.

Plans for today;
Nip into pueblo on the scoot for some fittings for the irrigation pipes.

Take SWMBO to hairdresser.

Get the chainsaw out and attempt to cut down a 3m high palm. It's either that or spend money on having the satellite dish moved. The 'leaves' of the palm blow across the front of the dish and cause the signal to be interrupted. I've cut the leaves back but it now looks a right mess.

Re: Hairy Tuesday

Good morning all
Hairy Tuesday , a very appropriate name AB as I am about to trim Chloe this morning . Perhaps all things considered it should be hairless Tuesday

Cooler and fresher here this morning .They say there is rain on the way but I have still given the beans a good watering because rain previously promised on earlier days never seems to fall here.

Have a good day all...

Good morning all, it's been raining heavily during the night and it looks like more today, still warm though.
Glad you're on your feet and prancing around Sherwood Forest again Barry.
Tell the barber to watch out for your ears AB.
Have a lovely day Folks.

Re: Hairy Tuesday

All 3 tasks completed.

Just finished sawing down the Palm. It was difficult as I only have an electric chainsaw, bit Mickey Mouse really. Still it's done, the TV picture is now perfect.

Now what to do with a 4ft high Palm stump, all nice and neatly trimmed.

Me thinks, a nice big pot with something flowering in it.

Re: Hairy Tuesday

Hi everyone!

Not long returned from a trip into town with my daughter for some retail therapy. We has a break for some lunch, then followed with another hour of traipsing round the shops.

It's been cloudy with the odd shower here, still comfortably warm though.

Re: Hairy Tuesday

It started out sunny early this morning, then a couple of light showers and now a bit overcast but still very warm and close. Windows are open and the garden smells nice now it's had a bit of rain on it. Isn't it nice to be at home to appreciate a little thing like that?
