Fake News
Most of us are aware of what constitutes fake news. It is propaganda that consists of deliberate misinformation or hoaxes spread via traditional print and broadcast news media or online social media.Rapidly appearing over the horizon however is a new more deadly form of Fake News. Originating as so much online technology does, from within the world of online pornography.
Currently it appears the faces of well known celebrities are being attached to the bodies of porn stars, doing what porn stars do. Apparently it is impossible to know that a different face has been added, with facial gestures and talking all part of the con trick.
At the moment we can justify our beliefs by claiming for example, we saw Trump say it. However It is envisaged that quite soon we shall see "Trump" giving a speech or a passing comment, and we shall not know if it is really Trump speaking or indeed a piece of computer magic, that simply makes us believe it is Trump.
That is when Fake News will really become a big problem.
