6 more weeks of winter

I don't know if you have the "groundhog" tale in UK, be our Wiarton Willy says there are going to be 6 more weeks of winter.

The little rascal saw his shadow this morning and predicts more darn winter......I have had enough, so I am not too happy about it (if I believe it)

YUK,
Kill the groundhog.

I yearn for sunshine and light nights, just to be able to sit out in the garden even wrapped up warm and drink coffee would be bliss......bring on some good weather please!!!

And it'd be lovely for me to walk my pup without freezing while she stops to sniff/park her bum/beg other people for a fuss/greet other dogs. Oh for the warm days and nights.

I do find it odd that you need an animal to tell you there will be another six weeks of winter after January, although the groundhog thing is great fun I agree...

Same here Annie.
My Snowdrops are all out in flower, and one of my Camelias is starting to bloom too.

Re: 6 more weeks of winter

It’s quite nice seeing the snowdrops peeking out of the snow. Tells me that no matter how bad the weather is at the moment. Spring is still approaching

It’s already getting lighter , wasn’t fully dark untill 5.30 last night and I’ve not needed my torch to see my way across the yard at work in the morning the past week

Spring is definately marching on
