My hopes of becoming a model have been put on hold.

Last night I was driving home in my van and moved out to pass a parked car when two drunken lads ran into my path from the right......leaving me no choice but to hit the car.

Both car and van were totally wrecked.

The scumbags didn't even stop to check I was ok.

Busted up ribs, damaged knee and a black eye to follow...oh, and a lovely wound to my head.

I was only 150 metres from home when this occurred.

Owner of the car was absolutely fantastic and caring.

I was sat in the van for a while whilst I recovered from the impact and airbag going off until the blood started to flow down my face.

It was quite comical as I'd just bought my lad some San Miguel and as I staggered from the van two bottles fell out and rolled down the road.

Did the police come?
Did you go to hospital?

Gosh I bet you're sore today. Were the people in the other car injured too?

Does anyone know who these boys were?

Bloody hell Tpin, you were damned lucky not to run the the toe rags down, but I am sorry to hear that you got hurt, get well soon mate, I assume you have had your chest X-rayed!
Edited to add, you have a crap figure anyway so don’t worry about the modelling contracts

The car was parked outside the owner's house, nobody in it.

No hospital treatment wanted though the paramedics recommended it.

Police arrived to clear the road and breath test for alcohol and drugs

Very sore, indeed.

Cops were old school, no statements taken, commonsense applied.

The car owner and his neighbours were great.

I agree with the paramedics, you should have let them check you over, stubborn man!

No thanks....it's the same hospital that all but killed my mum....and are now to be hauled in front of an inquest into their diabolical treatment of her.

Hope you can sleep with those injuries...take care and check out you're breathing ok,. but I'm sure the paramedics gave you plenty of sound advice.
